The Four Weeks of Blogmas: Why I chose to start my Projects for 2021 1 month Early

In 2020, I definitely made progress in my career in that I was consistent in closing deals and learned a lot personally and professionally. It was not a year that I made any obvious steps forward or back, and frankly, I'm surprised that I survived.

Between severe postpartum depression, a thyroid disorder, and fatigue that put me in the hospital, raising a newborn boy, a global pandemic, severe political and social unrest in the world around me, and a stressful job I am proud to be still standing.

That being said, I was so excited and eager to get started on my projects for the coming year that I got a jump start on them this month. Here's what I have to look forward to!

"There will be people who say to you, 'You are out of your lane,' They are burdened by only having the capacity to see what has always been instead of what can be. But don't you let that burden you." -Kamala Harris

I have officially joined up with one of the top virtual Brokerages in the NW! Realty First is an incredible Brokerage that I am so honored to be able to represent! Click on the photo to check out their website.

I have truly loved my time at Keller Williams and have learned so much and made some incredible connections and friends in my (nearly) two years there. However, in an ever-changing world and Real Estate scene, I needed to switch to a brokerage that has the tools, marketing materials, and online relevancy to support me as I grow in my career. I could not be more excited to grow in my career with such an incredible brokerage! If you have more questions on the specifics of why I switched, click here and get in touch.

I am also proud to announce that I will be attending Bryan University AZ virtually this year for a Digital Marketing Associates!

In an ever-changing economy and world, I have decided to make sure that I have a dual career path. Meaning that if something happens to the Real Estate industry, I will still have relevant, marketable skills. The Digital Marketing job sector is projected to grow by 10% by 2026 (which is the most modest estimate I have found) as it is an ever more relevant and needed industry. I also am looking forward to having employer-provided health insurance, and two incomes so that I can support my husband in his career change (more on that another time).

Wowza! Lots of changes in the future, and I could not be more excited about where my career is taking me. I see my career as the key to my personal life is what I have always dreamed it would be. I get to support my family, save for our investments that we have planned for the year, all while being able to put my health and happiness and that of my family first.

I have worked hard to have a life that I designed, and I cannot wait for what this year has in store for me!

I am so looking forward to putting 2020 behind me and making 2021 a year full of growth and happy memories.
